The capital, in 20 minutes from the estate by car, is nicely draped around lakes and rivers and is free of any industry and therefore enjoys clean air and a lovely climate. All large shopping centers are there, cinemas and a foreign community as well.
The estate is close to the sea with plenty of great seafood restaurants just a stroll away.
Bangkok is about 3hrs away and the ferry to Koh Chang Island can be reached in 45 minutes.
